Description This is the largest of the Cigar Box paintings I have done so far. Once again I became inspired by Klimt and then changed it accordingly. I left the nose hinted with just a slight shade of diference instead of a bold outline out of curiosity and it seems to work-out (or so I was told by a few others). I also love the "mood" portraiyed something between daring and tenacity..thus Resolutions..

I so knew this was yours before I even clicked on it. You do such amazing work.

Where do you find your cigar boxes? Do you have to buy them? Where?

Thanx I get the boxes wherever I can. These last 10 I got from a Cigar store in Miramar. The store owner takes donations for the empty boxes so I load up whenever I'm in town. But I've also paid upto $5 each for an empty box because everyone just figures you're gonna sell it and make money of it. Which I think its bull. they should be happy that we are somewhat "recycling" more like re-using the stuff. Anyways the thing is that I am moving to Tallahassee in a week so I'm back to square 1 on the box thing but I dont mind a good "box" hunt.

P.s.- It also helps to let your friends know to be on the look out so if they see anythign they can get for you.
