Worked on this one for about a day and a half... tried my best on the lighting, cause thats what I was mostly practicing here... so yeh, comments are welcome and appreciated!
EDIT: Added a sun to the explosion, blurred it some more, and fixed the shadow on the small planet

it looks great, though there is too much yellow/red/orange, but because of this kind of picture it's normal, I mean it doesn't worth changing because it would ruin the mood of the picture, but next time don't make them look so hot

This is retardedly good. The only issue I have is a very technical one, and that is with regard to the fact that the shadow is kind of wrong on the little moon there. Fix that and this'll be smack dab in the middle of perfect.

the only thing i can spot is that you can see the stars through the big planet. bt other that that this is f**king beautiful man. you did a really nice job on this one. cheers!

Sweet, it looks awesome. Only thing is, the background does tear your eyes away from the other details of the picture a bit.
In the way of lighting though, the planet on the bottom looks superb. Top one looks a little washed out though.
Overall, pretty smexy, nice job. What'd you do this in?

Thanks man! I took your advice and touched it up a bit, any better? I wanted the nova to be blurry so it appeared hot and in motion, but yeh you're right it was a distraction

Top planet looks much better, the lighting fits in much more, and looks alot more dramatic. Your texturing is amazing by the way, wish I could do that, but every time I look at a UV, my head explodes.
With the bottom planet, it fades into stark black really quickly. Making it a little gentler of a transition might look good, as the black now makes it seem a little more flat.
