Bless the Cactus'sOH, art? This took me forever longer than it should have. My friend and I are doing these inanimate objects as characters challenges, today was "cactus"
I am trying to get back into the groove of drawing again, it's been toooooo long.
( Reminder to self though, quit drawing a background with a lightsource that makes no sense XD )

Thank you my friend, I'm sorry the size was too big, That was my fault totally This started out as a sketch that turned into a practice coloring (its been so long) and I completely forgot about the formalities of the party, and made it too big
I agree with you on the floating ground stand part, it kinda was a bit large, and didn't give much room for those elements to stick out.

i think rather the details were a little too small. i like to constantly zoom in and out of my stuff and if a detail is too small to read i make it bigger or get rid of it.

Sweet texturing, particularly for the intricate things such as the cactus guy's pores. The rendering work is also fantastic, very clear. I think what makes your approach so interesting is that you can get both elements running smoothly at the same time, alongside your quirky style.
I have no idea what the heck's happening in this scene, but I know it looks purrrr-dy.

My favorite part would be the little tiny reflections on his belly, the texture and detail in every single pixel is really just amazing. Flat out high quality as always. I don't know how you do it.

i think if i had to give constructive crits, the bird should prolly be shaded with something other than darker yellows so it doesn't look as bland and the sun should prolly be a shining mass instead of circle with shading
but otherwise great stuff, easily my favorite thing of yours i've seen in a while
