One of these days I will stop being such a fangirl. Seriously, this has to stop, but, hey, at least it's halfway serious art this time. Mostly just seeing what I could do with a pen sketch I did during first period English while wanting to make smoothies out of the people who kept asking me "Hey, hey, hey, you got any gum?"There's so much wrong with this thing, it's not even funny. If anyone likes this, they obviously need to have their brain scanned by the nearest neurologist.
Karl and the mysterious red head are owned by I just enjoy drawing them, despite how stupid the results are.

It does? Yes, I use GIMP. I prefer it over photoshop these days, but I still miss my traditional coloring. Do you use layers when coloring? That's what I do. So many layers.

Using layers under your line-art makes a huge difference. [link] If you don't know how to use layers, this tutorial (step three, to be exact) helped a lot.

I'm fascinated by how you've lengthened/stylized their legs and retained a "normal" look; they don't look gawky, but elegant. ^^ Red looks especially lovely, and I just adore both of their expressions. Overall, great piece of art!

Yes, really! Elegant is just the word I'd use, though "sweeping" also came to mind. ^^ And of course, I think it's fair to say that as the artist, you're going to be the toughest critic of your work.
