Well finally got around to painting her. Now that I look at this beautiful high-res photo I can really see all the print errors and paint crud ( my printer had a mechanical issue).Model data care of

Heh, yeah, no matter how nice the print looks, the paint job always reveals that they layers aren't as invisible as you thought they were. xP What type of plastic was this printed with?

I used PLA for this one. Yeah, I can't even remember the last time I painted something. Might have been one of those car models you get when you're a kid.
Love your models by the way. Your mendel does such a nice job. Wish I could get my money back for the printer I got, live and learn I guess

Ah, still this is pretty nice for PLA! Having worked with that stuff for a few months, I can attest to the utter nightmare that it is to paint! xP

It would indeed. Finer layer thickness wouldn't have been such a bad idea too. I was all excited to paint her that I didn't consider what the end result would look like.
