Och, it must be very complicated to do a pony in 3d. I'm only expirienced in modelling buildings in 3d, but it seems easier than a pony for me xD

Check out work. They are the original owners of these digital 3D models.

I hear ya, I can only model things in CAD software at the moment.

What kind of plastic did you use? ABS?
I'm currently using PLA for my RapMan. Not really the best I think...

Oh nice you have a Rapman?! I broke the bank and went for the BFB 3d Touch. I printed these two in BFB-PLA. Not been very happy with the quality of the PLA though (My newest spool of PLA seems... different, somehow).

I wish I could afford a 3d-touch. Or maybe even a BFB-3000. :<
Have you ever tried ABS plastic? Kinda want to try it after my current spool of PLA is empty.

Tried ABS once but I found due to the size of the nozzle and the extruded width it didn't have very good resolution (although, I was using .25mm step).
Actaully my first attempt was in ABS but my machine powered down 3/4 way through the print

I might try ABS again at .125mm Z-step (now that I have a spool of White ABS).

aww, looks as if she could just blow away with the wind! How light are these?

I think it came out to about 20-25 grams of material. It's not quite solid all the way through (It has a sort of honey comb pattern inside).

Nice!

I've printed myself a similar one.

She's really heavy on the right side. I didn't predict it while looking at the digital model, but she tips very easily to the right.

Pose 0 Fluttershy has better balance. That's the one I printed.

Damn! Thirteen hours?!

Yeah. I could have sped it up to max. But as I said, the carriage is kind of heavy and the printer is top heavy. So it tends to just shake real bad due to it never decelerating when it changes direction.

I heard adding a wall on one side helps with that. I don't know for sure though.

Yeah, Me too! Was thinking of trying it again soon. It mostly shakes when doing the sparse infill due to the hexagon pattern it uses. The next release of Kisslicer apparently will be adding slight arc moves when it prints the infill which would stop the shaking during accelerating and decelerating.
