Description
Prints available [link]Drawing of [link] by She said she missed her boyfriend as he'd been gone 3 months. I know how she felt.
I decided to leave the roses unshaded because the contrast with the shaded face looked kinda nifty.
2B mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, A5 paper, possibly 8 hours.

I love the face, but I think it would have been better without the roses.

I really like this The contrast between the realistically rendered face and the flatness of the roses is really nice. I really love the way you did the lips too... nice work!

I love pictures that have left something undone. It makes them look like they are coming to life from the page, for some reason. So I am glad you left them undone!

OMG! This is awesome! Whatever you do, don't 'finish' it like some ppl are saying, i think u should do a whole series of ones like these, it is such an awesome idea when combined with ur technique at the photo-realistics, Bravo! Bravo!
