What about a graphic novel of Constance Chesterton?

I admire your inking skills. What tools did you use for this piece? If I'm not mistaken, it looks like it was all inked with the same pen?

Any connection to G K Chesterton? (Actual writer, but also featured as a character in a alt-history/steam punk series, and closely copied by Fiddler's Green in Sandman)

It is notable that the Chesterton clan remained small and of no consequence until Gilbert's Grandfather founded the Chesterton construction company that had a boom time during the time of Dickins' childhood, and prospered amidst the new opportunities the industrial revolution offered. The premise of Steampunk is that a few key extra, early discoveries were made by an extra genius or two, or that existing scientists were able to push things a little further then in reality. And it could have happened; in the 1830s a complex, clockwork computer was built, and was almost as powerful as the IBM prototype of 100 years later, but was underestimated as a mere novelty, it's potential never realized. But WHAT IF it had? And considering this hypothetical maiden in presentation here, what would an entrepreneur like the elder Chesterton have made of that world, and influence his children? Gilbert's father was a professional sports man, what options would steam punk have offered him? It is also notable that he had a little sister who died of a concussion when Gilbert and Cecil were little. Would she have survived if medicine were more advanced? Could Constance be her? o_O
