Well here it is my first official piece on my new program and personally I think it's quite nice, granted there could be some few things to fix with the shading as well as the line work but other than that I think this is a rather nice step up form my old setup. Speaking of my old program what to know something rather funny and possibly neat well get this. EVERY SINGLE PIECE BEFORE THIS I DREW ON AN IPAD MINI WITH MY FINGER!!! Yes that is correct as sad as it is to admit every single thing I've drawn was on an iPad mini and I used my finger, I never even had a stylus. X,D. So umm ya heheh I seriously don't know what else to say. In a way I do feel a bit bad for the people I gave gifts to because in a way you got a legitimate finger painting. So Diniosaurus Kazuto-Hayase and Tintiai I'll be redoing or at least giving you guys new ones because I kinda feel bad in a way but umm ya that's mainly it.
As for the piece itself it's a gift for NOTMrsDestiny I know you've already seen it via Skype but hey oh well. XD Regardless it was quite fun to make your character, design is rather neat I must say it's quite snazzy and the colours are nice! ^^ I know the mane is supposed to go all the way and I still feel a bit bad but I'm glad you still liked it and I can thank you enough for drawing Jordan it means so much! As for the rest I decided to include some more stuff from my city it's inaccurate as all bloody hell. Main reasons are is that the earnest brown block is more to the left, also I couldn't draw the Walterdale bridge properly so I jus drew a pedway and there's supposed to be a large amount of skyscrapers there as well but they I still had fun. But Ya I hope you guys enjoy!

Ahhh I like updated my computer and then it was all like "please wait until windows finds errors in your computer" or something like that and then I waited like 2 hours and nothing happend XD...
IbisPaint is a good art software but it's really laggy but yeah I restarted my computer....its been unplugged for a week tho XD

Oooh ya theres a lot of issues there. a two hour update its to much put suttin your system off during said update is usually pretty bad. If needed be there should be an update to post pone the update and do it later.

Nice work!! Right away I can see a difference between this one and some of your older works. It just looks... smoother somehow? Idk but this looks really great! I love the pose you used, and the shading appears to be pretty realistic. Just wondering though, did you use a brush for the grass or did you draw each individual one? Because it looks good, however you did it.
Still amazed that you were able to draw the previous pieces using your finger. Lol whenever I try to do that it turns out absolutely horrible. Sorry for all the questions but I can't remember if you said anything about it- what are you using to draw now? Did you get a stylus, or are you using a mouse or drawing tablet?

Aaaah yay thank you so so much! I'm really glad you can see the difference and that you think the shading is more realistic it's means a lot to hear! As for the grass I used a combo of three brushes, the regular pen, smudge and airbrush. So what I did was use one layer as the base colour then go over the base layer on a new layer with clipping on with lighter and darker shades of the base using airbrush. Then I used the smudge brush for the individual blades. Followed by another layer with a lighter colour (using airbrush) and set to overlay I think, then merge the layers.

Oh yeah that's right, now I remember. Yeah it took me a little while to get used to, but these graphics tablets really are fun to draw with when you do.
