Over all this picture is just plain cute. The colors are vivid, and really catches the eye of anyone happening to find it while browsing DA.

The overall anatomy was well done, but I do have to say that the hind paw, was just a tad small compared the to front, which are practically spot on. The broken, or should I say half eaten, candy canes on the snow in front of him was nice touch. You could really tell he enjoyed them! With the shading on the fur, although very well done with detail, the blending up to the lighter parts of his fur could've used just a bit more.

With that being said, the background give me the thought of the unknown, seemingly, all around him, and although it helps with adding the main focus on the cat, it could've use just a little bit more. But the tree branches seem to almost frame the entire picture itself. The blur, also, gave it the idea of it being close. And to get to the point of that, it looks nice.

With the snow, although I see that it's dark from his shadow, the lighter parts could've been blended a little bit more with the lighter parts of it.

Overall, I love the picture, and will be sure to add this to my favorites! ^^

This is so *LOVELY!* I can't believe I've not seen your art before! X3 This whole style is so beautiful! What a lovely surprise! Gosh! Also I like that you held on before you posted it! The suspense of wondering what I was going to get was part of the excitement!! Heehee!

The pose on this is so lovely! I really like how she's all curled up there keeping herself warm in the cold. The way she's curled around is really cat like and I really like it!

Also I love candy canes >_______> She is red and white striped so it makes SENSE she's a candy cane cruncher Teehee! I love how it looks as if she's crunched a whole lot of them and not really stopped to finish a whole one before munching on another!! I hope she clears all those bits up!

Your shading style is so beautiful as well! It's like, cell shaded, but REALLY detailed at the same time! I can see HUNDREDS of little hairs there in her leg and belly fluff! You must have SO much patience! The wee smile on her face is beautiful too! She looks so content and happy. You really nailed her design too what with her stripes and earring and the TAIL TIE! So many people forget various bits of her design lol.

You absolutely CRACKED her hair too! Her hair can be such a BUTT to draw because it has a weird fringe bit and it's like a mane, but it's like hair, and she's a girl so really she shouldn't even have any hair, BUT YOU GOT IT PERFECT WOW!

The blue backlighting you've used is delicious too! It perfectly captures the little stray edges of her hair and fur and I really love it.

Aww this is so pretty! I do love the colours and the general atmosphere :3
I think the shades are a bit too deep for the light source (i'm assuming it's the sun/sky), if you were going for a softer shading style, you could still keep the fur detail by lowering the opacity of the shading layer.
The foreshortening of her left hind leg seems a little off too, although I'm terrible at perspective so I have no idea how I can help ;A;
