I made a very similar photo about a week ago (it's in my gallery)
But yours is much more clear with fine artistic touch.

Beautiful. All kinds of questions go through my head when I see something like this. What happened, was it abandoned, stolen, or did its owner outgrow it? You did such a wonderful job on this photo. It is truly art.

Ooh you're right. The texture of the silt revealed in full view is very nice.
The lighting almost seems artificial.

Just... amazing... and so powerful. The lighting, the angle, and of course the subject make this so striking.

Kind of looks like sand/mud, although when I look closer it seems as though the bike is trapped within hard concrete. Lovely photo. Like nothing I've seen here on deviantart.
I enjoyed the full view most def. Beautiful photography. Black and white is always best

wow.
its beautiful...
i love the way the bike seems to float out of the sand...or is it disintegrating into the sand?
i guess the b/w photo gives it that feeling.
this can be seen many different ways..youve captured the scene fantastically!

I'm going to be honest, I liked the small version of the picture better, I'm not a huge fan of some of the textures, but you can't really change those anyways, you're just taking a picture. However, I do like the picture. It is very creative and captures the emotion in something as simple as a broken bike. Good work.

Great emotion portrayed here..I love it.
I did a similar picture last year, with my old red wagon, it wasn't nearly as spectacular as this.

It's so clean, like slate. Looks like it was chucked on the ground and someone accidentally poured liquid cement over it.

the absence of the second wheel is the dot on the i for me
the shadow of the frame is nice too
maybe a "rusty" version of this would be nice

if you had taken this pic from another angle, it could be nothing more than a bike on the sand.
great composition, contrast and focus. great work!
