Great photo! Was that spontaneous or did you make her hold that face for a few minutes? Did you use a special lens? The focus is so sharp on her and so fuzzy on the background, it's a contrast I'm not used to.
Of course that might be my fault for working with CG all the time.

I though you were talking about the other picture, actually! No, with this one I didn't do anything really special. There's lens distortion because I was really close to her and zoomed in.
I think I may have been shooting in Av, which would explain why the background is blurry.. But I'm almost certain I was in Tv. One of the two.

And no, she was laughing at her nephew. I created the depth of field by using the filter by the same name in Paintshop. Basically, I blurred the surrounding areas.
