Nightmare Moon (or Night Mare Moon?) from new My Little Pony series. Kinda freaky representations but works...also, sky in background looked empty - just added some lightnings, problem solved. |>I decided to give this a try because I needed something not that anatomy strict to draw and these ponies are just something that "forget everything you knew about real horse anatomy, just have fun and don't forget ridiculously big eyes".
Note I'm not a fanatic fan so cut off all that stuff.
Liner, black ink, white ink, aquarels, colour pencils. (White paints hate me.)

That looks way more painful than it did in the show. But I say that in a good way. It's a wonderful, and a bit more realistic, portrayal. I feel bad for Nightmare Moon though. Awesome work!

THOSE EYES AREN'T BIG ENOUGH. PONIES HAVE HUMONGOUS EYES SO THEY CAN SEE FRIENDSHIP MILES AWAY.
I almost forgot about Nightmare Moon's design... I like those armors, they should be shown more frequently in the series... Heh, she fits you style pretty well

Normal 4A paper. And somebody already did, but the best way to make me not to want draw something is to ask it (except commission works).

wonderful picture, and you did great on drawing and coloring it, especially considering it was your first time drawing something pony related.
but honestly, i somehow knew it would only be a matter of time till you drew something like this. i dont know how, but after repeatedly noticing your large quantity of winged quadripedal animals with vivid colors... i just somehow saw it coming.

At least I got used to these horrible large eyes that were the main thing why I doubted the quality of 4th generation ponies at first.

they do have some basic anatomy of horses and annoys me so much when people even get that wrong :U
I'm not that big of a fan either, but can enjoy the artistic aspect of it. I am surprised to see pony anything from you, even if it is Nightmare Moon X3

I wouldn't like to give these ponies too realistic look, in my opinion it kinda spoils original character if you stretch its anatomy too far from original (works with any character). ... I like horses and with wings, horns and armor it's just better...but I refuse to join this fanbase around, it's sort a creepy what I know.

Well not too realistic at all. I'm referring to the joints in the forelegs in normal equine poses. most have been posing them with two joints like dogs or cats or anything with paws rather than three like hoofed animals.
Every fanbase seems creepy from the outside perspective, i think.

I watched (old) ponies when I was a kid....alongside Biker Mice from Mars it was my favourite show (but I liked bikermice more). Oh yea, I was one strange kid. |D
