Fur ass!
Turbine tail!...That could be called a legendary battle, huh?
Anyway, heeeere are two new (rushed drawn) legendary pokémon of 5th generation. Reshiram (white) and Zekrom (black)... Can I say they're epic.
(And can I also say they really really remind me about something previous and even a couple of digimon inclided... |D But anyways, especially Reshiram's face is lovely.)
And by the way, Reshiram covers Pokémon Black -game and Zekrom Pokémon White. I dunno why but that's how it goes.
Liner, colour pencils, copics (all rushed...).
Bad thing is I like these two and I have nasty feeling they'll get a way too much popularity for my taste...mehhh. But they're epic.

Actually, I think they do correspond to their respective colors, since in this [link] image Reshiram has the White logo and Zekrom has the Black logo.
Fur ass and Turbine tail, those were my thoughts too. XD I kind of wonder what they were thinking when these were designed, but they're pretty cool, so hey. Though they really do strike me as more Digimon-ish than Pokemon-ish.
I love how you drew Reshiram. Its head is so pretty.

They were thinking white one looks a bit pale so let's add some fur...nobody told where, though. ... Palkia and Dialga were somewhat digimonish too but hey, that doesn't bother me. |D I'm happy that we have pretty good new legendary duo now.

The placement of fur makes me wonder, what if Reshiram were both genders at once...? XD
But yeah, this duo feels much more natural and epic in and of themselves rather than because they're gods of the world or whatever. Zekrom has a good flow to him, design-wise. I'm really curious to see what the third version's legendary will be.

I prefer genderless legendaries (though everything genderless is automatic "he" for me with rather neutral personality). Reshiram is strange enough it'll get some attention anyways (it is that groin fur, unfortunately).
If this fifth generation keeps going this well, it may beat ever-so-awesome second generation (that's everybody's personal opinion, though....So far I've liked everything, more or less, except that water starter. It fails.)

I like the designs, but overall they do remind me of the previous legendaries. Even if it's just the randomness of the designs.

It does kinda make sense for them to resemble Digimon slightly, considering the new gen may be targeted at older players since the new playable characters are going to be older than any of the previous (16 to 18 range).

They don't try lure new players, just keep the old ones who are most probably grown a bit (I started liking Pokémon when I was 11, then that 10-year old main character felt good but now...)

And by my calculations, there are now exactly 500 Pokemon. (Though I've seen the DMA list, and there are STILL hundreds more Digimon)
