In the series "I talk with my characters".Lately that certain Lanternhead has bugged me a lot. It is like...hangs around. Reads. Drinks coffee. And sometimes starts be annoying just being itself. B|
Anyway. Pride is...creepy enough. Very interesting character but not someone who would chitchat when I want - talk about strong personality, this thing is so far the winner. Try ask stupid things and it throws similar answers back. Also. It seems to have annoying way that it touches others, yet don't allow the others touch itself against it's will. And is very definite with this.
...I wonder how many stupid jokes can be made with character named Will ...

Poke an eye out. After all, its tentacles are metal. Would feel as nice as a huge fishing hook in the eye.
I wish English could use "it" as naturally as Finnish, in common talk we use "it" while talking about a person and it's just normal.

It would be nice to settle down on a word to call genderless things. "It" feels odd in my language, yes. I guess I call things "he" or "she" based off of their personality in that case.

In Finnish we have only one single word for she/he. So I'm more that used to gender neutral pronouns. Still we use "it" mostly, heuheu. Finnish logic.

Finland doesn't separate at all between gender huh? Sounds nice. I don't feel like he or she is a bad thing though. When someone calls me "he" I feel like they're acknowledging me for who I am, my traits. Labels are nice in a way cause it shows who pays attention to you xp
If that makes any sense. I can see where they'd be unlikeable though.

Nope. Has never been as far as our written language has been recorded. This why it took a while before I even got to understand how to use he and she. I still not see the point, though. And if I speak in English, I happily mix those pronouns up all the time (no time to think what to use).
