The idea just came at random and I think a cover for Watership Down I once saw is to blame. This at first was meant to use much darker colors but as people can tell, had I too much fun coloring the rabbits.Related content

Thank you, and honesty I don't know. I can swear once a long time ago I saw a promotional image for the movie showing two rabbits in silhouette with that kind of coloring for the background, but in a Google search I can't find it. Heck, I own this on CED and even that version cover doesn't have it.
