its good, and the reasons have probably been repeated too many times above, so ill move along to a little critique. I know that you were trying to highlight the face by placing it in an odd place...but understand what that does to the REST of the picture. I was taught that a good painting (and photograph) move the viewers eye around the entire thing. Although one area might be a focus point, the rest simply isnt blank. Here, the eye is mostly static, and thats not good. It is unbalanced, lopsided. Try adding something to the empty space to even it out, it will make the picture much more interesting.
