While I really like this tutorial I have to point out that blood is very thick and runs very slowly and therefore don't very often trickle down in thin paths but much more often in thick paths. It ain't water, that's for sure. It will also prefer to follow one path rather than splitting up in several. It also dries ridicolously fast. But of course we can always assume the victim is suffering of a thinned out blood disease

It's also fun to see how blood can have an orange tint where it's thin, and almost black where it is thick. Blood also rarely dries all red but instead usually becomes a redish brown. Movies never seem to get that right <_<

Also, really nice setup for the tutorial, very clear and easy to follow.

Haha of course not xD I guess I have been a bit "lucky", had some really nasty accidents were I got so see a lot of my own blood up close and in action. Plus hunting and skinning of recently dead animals also gives a good view on how blood works, how disgusting it may seem to some.

"Unless you're drawing a sprinkler, don't make it shoot two feet in the air."

That made me think of a blood sprinkler. That's so freaking awesome.

This tutorial is just as awesome! Blood is a lot trickier than it looks (at least to me ) so this is helpful! Especially the note on 3D objects...Can't forget that!

This shall come in use someday. I just have to figure out shades of green to use for blood so it isn't neon green.
