There are 5 characters I'd like to see in Smash Bros:
5) Shovel Knight
4) Waluigi
3) Cranky Kong
2) Bandana Dee
1) Shantae
I started playing the Shantae games over the summer and just loved them, so I really hope that she gets into Smash Bros. Β I just hope that if she does get in she won't be a stupid Mii Fighter costume, seriously I don't like the costumes (I wouldn't object to a Risky Boots Mii Sword Fighter costume though, that I would buy).
Anyway, this was just a comic I made to promote Shantae for Smash Bros, it took me a LONG time to make because my drawing tablet crapped out on me so I needed to use a mouse XP

Who could say no to that face, and also a Shantae mii, yeah I don't approve either, give me my Shantae fighter and amiibo and stage, or at least fighter.

I wasn't thinking about a mii design similar to King K. Rool, T-3000, when I said that, it was more along the lines of how the Chrom mii or that Tales of Symphonia guy mii were design.

You probably heard by now that Shantae didn't get in (Bayonetta and the new Fire Emblem guy, Corrin/ Kumai got in, though I don't know how I feel about Tails being a mii costume).

And while I'm a bit bummed that Shantae didn't get in, I think Bayonetta and Corrin look like fun characters and can't wait to get them
(and people are all salty because we have a new FE rep, but I like it because we have a character who isn't a Marth clone and represents more than just the sword figter class in FE, but I can see why people would think there is too much FE)

There's always next Smash, T-3000, though I'm wondering how could they top this Smash and its DLC? I mean Cloud and Bayonetta.
(I could get where those salty people are coming from, there's 5 FE guys, 6 now including Corrin/ Kumai. At least Corrin and Bayonetta will shut the ones that are complaining about sword fighters.)

I wonder if Sakurai (or whoever makes Smash 5) will use the top ballot characters who didn't win as new characters for Smash 5
To top this smash is to just add every character that has ever been in Smash Bros with some new ones and some amazing levels (old and new), but thats dreaming big.
I think its fine that there are more FE characters, I love that series, but I can see how people say it's too much. What bothers me is that most of them are clones xP

Don't hold your breath. It's pretty clear that Mii costumes are FAR more easier and cheaper to make than full-fledged characters.

I don't know, I think Sakurai is really going to add a (or a few) new character(s) into the game, I mean he added Ryu (which I know had nothing to do with the ballot, but they still made him from scratch, unlike the other DLC characters who are Clones and Mewtwo)
I heard that the reason why some characters get a Mii Fighter costume is because they don't think they have a good enough moveset to be their own character, and I'm sure Shantae can have a really unique moveset (but this this is just stuff I heard, not sure if it's true or not, because there are the Samus and Megaman costumes)

Like I said, this was just something I heard, not sure if true.
Just because K. Rool is a Mii Fighter doesn't mean he's out of the ballot, he still has a shot. Β And even if King K. Rool isn't an original fighter at least they tried to add him into the game because of how many people really wanted him in (in a way it's like a little nod to the fans, to me it shows they're listening).
They're not going to add EVERY ballot entry, if I were to guess I bet King K. Rool was a popular choice, but not popular enough and got out voted by a few other characters, so they decided to give the fans who did want him in something rather than nothing (but like I said, he still has a shot).

Idk about Shantae honestly. she has a large fan following but half of her following has never even played her games. They just want her because she's half-naked.Β

I played the games and really enjoyed them, so I would love to see her in the game
Everyone wants Shovel Knight, but I honestly had more fun playing Shantae (I still would like Shovel Knight to be in the game as well, but I would preferΒ Shantae)

I don't care much for 3rd party characters unless they feel like a Nintendo character
Sonic feels like a Nintendo character
Pac-Man (kinda) feels like a Nintendo character
Ryu... not so much (never cared for Street Fighter anyway)
Shovel Knight feels like an old SNES game (not NES, like everyone says, to me it felt more SNES)
Shantae started off on the GBC, and her next game was on the DSi, after that she started being a multi-platform, so to me she feels more Nintendo than any of the other 3rd party characters (except maybe Sonic)
Plus there are ALOT of worse 3rd party choices out there than those two (cough cough Goku)

True. I always figured the 3rd parties should be representative of games. Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and Ryu are all iconic video game characters.Β

Oh man, I kinda forgot Megaman was in the game, yeah, he's really Nintendo-like if you ask me
And don't forget they added Snake as a 3rd party character, who in my opinion has NO Nintendo qualities to his character whatsoever (but he was pretty fun to play as)
Nintendo is VERY supportive of Indie Games, so I bet Shovel Knight and Shantae have a good chance of being in Smash Bros (I mean Shovel Knight already has anΒ Amiibo)

I read it was because the creator of metal gear and Sakurai were friends, and they asked for Snake to be in the game (though this could be false)
I think you're thinking of Pacman being in Smash 4 because Namco Bandai helped with that game

I would just love it if all of her taunts were the dance moves she does in the first game (give her 4 taunts, a different dance for each direction on the d-pad)

Even though I assume you're talking about A Link to the Past's/Ocarina of Time's Ganon, who is WAY different from Twilight Princess', I still can't really see it happening,Β though I could see them adding him as a mii fighter costume

I see him as similar to Dedede, only with more magic and a trident instead of a hammer.

I see him more as an original character with different energy/fire/lightening ball moves, but to me he's still not unique enough that I think he'll make it
(though I bet he'll get a Mii costume)
