There are 5 characters I'd like to see in Smash Bros:
5) Shovel Knight
4) Waluigi
3) Cranky Kong
2) Bandana Dee
1) Shantae
I started playing the Shantae games over the summer and just loved them, so I really hope that she gets into Smash Bros. Β I just hope that if she does get in she won't be a stupid Mii Fighter costume, seriously I don't like the costumes (I wouldn't object to a Risky Boots Mii Sword Fighter costume though, that I would buy).
Anyway, this was just a comic I made to promote Shantae for Smash Bros, it took me a LONG time to make because my drawing tablet crapped out on me so I needed to use a mouse XP

Who would want an old guy fighting? Plus, Waluigi is already an assist trophy and so cannot be replaced as DLC. Speaking of which, I'm hoping Bandana Dee might appear as a Smash Run enemy, and maybe Shantae and Shovel Knight might appear as Mii Fighter costumes. That wouldn't be so bad, now would it?

I don't think Cloud was added as part of the Smash Ballot
The ballot only ended like a month and a half ago, there's no way they've could have gotten the character rights, made the model (models because he has his black cloak look), do the animations, program his entire moveset, make an entire level with a ton of crazy stuff going on, chocobo costumes, and a trailer for all of that done in that amount of time (and if they did, wow, really impressive work). Β I think they had plans for him to be in the game for awhile now (I mean one of Robin's alternate colors is a White Mage).
Cloud looked like he was ready for a release right there and then, when Mewtwo was announced he just had a character model and then 6 months later he came out, that's just one character no extra levels or anything, and it took about 6 months. Β There's no way Sakurai could have done all of that for Cloud in a month and a half
(But I could be wrong)
I've never played a Final Fantasy game, been wanting to play FF7 for awhile now (before all of this Smash and FF7 remake stuff), this gives me more of a motive to do so. Β But for the time being, I don't really care for his inclusion all that much (I'm not against it either, like those people who demand he be removed. Β I think he could make a neat character and I'm going to get him when he comes out, but I'm just not aboard this hype train like so many other people are)
