And thus, winter sucked for the rest of timeSnowdrop sure didn't SEE that coming (Get it? 'cause she's blind and... never mind)
So I liked Snowdrop it was cute and sad (though I felt Snowdrop's speech about winter was a bit long and repetitive, and I never got that feeling that she was blind, still good though)
I originally wrote the Doctor and Derpy bathroom joke for another comic, but I felt it fit in better here
And originally this was going to be a comic about how long and repetitive Snowdrop's "Winter is important" speech was, but I changed it

Well mister Morbid Von Negative, I would say that if you strip out the disabilities and heartlessness in the animation, the "story" is told in the last 2 minutes when Snowdrop displays her SUPER snowflake to everyone.
All the rest beforehand is trying to make you pity Snowdrop.
So sure, there is a "story". Even if it can be summed as "pathetic character finds purpose making SUPER snowflakes" with the majority of the episode emphasizing the PATHETIC the entirety of the episode.
Lastly, there are people getting bullied, raped, and killed.
Some were victims of such LAST NIGHT.
And you don't care.
What I'm saying is, I don't believe you when you describe what's REALLY sad. Don't pretend, it makes you look pretentious.
I don't believe that any of the things you listed actually makes you personally feel sad.

No. That was one of the parts of it.
We simply have different view on same things. The fact that she didn't came up with a project, that flashback, how she came to the idea of SUPER-MY-@$$ snowflake... all that stuff is still are parts of a storyline, even if those parts are not about action and exploding helicopters. Storyline also can consist of characters' thoughts and emotions, that's what I'm trying to tell you. And such parts of it are not always intended to make you feel sad, and even if they make you, these are still parts of a storyline. Maybe I was reading Pushkin, Lermontov and other classic Russian writers too much, or maybe I was brainwashed on literature classes, who knows, but that's my opinion on such ways of storytelling.

One thing is when the victim is far away from you, somewhere in Timbuktu, another is when the victim is nearby and you can hear him/her screaming for help when you really can help or at least call 9-1-1. I'm not a goddamn superhero to care about every single person in this world who needs help. I can't hear someone screaming on the North Pole, for example, and I can't come there in 2 minutes or less.

To be honest, almost nothing makes me sad anymore. On the other hand, I didn't say that what I listed literally makes me sad. I was only comparing. I can find craploads of stories as sad as Snowdrop's, most of which are written by parents of some disabled kid/kid with cancer who needs a very expensive surgery these parents can't afford.

I feel like Snowdrop had potential as a story, but as an episode it was severely lacking. A story can contain speeches, poetry, etc. A show? Not so much. Not unless it's also sung, and accompanied by an entertaining dance routine.

Snowdrop's speech more closely resembled a speech from one her age. A little slow and repetitive due to inexperience and a not too well developed mind just yet. It was...normal....which is extraordinary.
