Description
Was supposed to be a thylacine art trading card. But, it ended up occupying the entire index card I was working on, not like Im going to complain. Ok, Im going to complain that both my scanner and camera ate this, it looks sooo much better in real life.Ive gotten the thylacine side-view down pretty well, and this started out at a study (based off a David Flea photo) to move away from my standard. Really went alot further than I had anticipated.

The original wont be colored. Already sprayed it with this fixer stuff to keep the pencil from smudging. Im also not the best at coloring, and think its probably for the best
Not to say I wont try with a copy though. Thinking about charcoal & colored pencils.
Not sure what ACEO stands for.
As for prints, all depends on how well the super-duper high res color copier at the local UPS store does with this. So far, my scanner and camera have failed miserably.

Thanks. Glad you like it! I kinda went overboard on it... it was supposed to be a simple pen & ink outline. But, one thing led to another and started blending the pencil work and just couldnt bring myself to ink it.
Already have it sprayed with a fixer and its currently drying. Probably another coat or two and it will be good.

It called 'being obsessive.' Spent like 6 hours staring at a black and white photo while working on this... My eyes hurt so bad.
Well, stage one is done. Used the same dull-coat lacquer (Testors brand) I use on my minis, and it appears to work quite well to stop the pencil from smudging.
Tomorrow, a trip to the photocopiers!
