Thanks. I might not be a big fan of the Orville series but Malloy is one of the few characters that I like on the show.

My biggest complaint with the cast is how Seth hunches. He sort of lumbers about.

My biggest problem with the show is that try to hard to be funny. In my opinion the show works better as a drama not a comedy.

Definitely. And as it went along, it has been more and more drama. To be fair, there was humor in TOS, and Trek in general. Orville is just a bit more obvious about it. But it is mainly the characters making jokes, not funny situations in the plot.

I agree that the show has gotten more dramatic but they also seem to try to add something funny to a scene that doesn’t need it.
For example the episode that the Star Trek captains appeared (Kirk,Picard,etc) was funny because hearing them tell stories about their adventures and how the stories sounded crazy was the best part of the episode.

Nice! I like DS9's design. For a change the 'location' didn't have a Federation aesthetic
I missed DS9 at the time when it came out because I don't think it made it to the channels here, whereas TNG and Voyager did. I have heard good things about it though
