T-toast — KH Rika and Rena re-design

ok, so i've been working on these two for a looooooong time... originaly I had started modeling plain old Rika when I friend asked me to... I did a good job on the model overall but something got lost in the translation to 3D soo I wasn't too happy with it =\A few months go by and decided I wanted to try to copy the Kingdom Hearts style of modeling/texturing but I didn't know what i wanted to model. Thats when the idea of re-design Rika came to me. I then eventually decided I had to model Renamon too lol.
So here's what (i think) Rika would look like in KH if she were a teenager (16 ish I guess). I tried to think of stuff to do for Renamon but mostly drew a blank... I did give her some belts for good measure though lol

Is it possible to make Rika look more like she did in the original series? It's just that I think she looks a little too over-sexualized, if you know what I mean. But, if anyone disagrees, I'll just blame it on me being tired. I just woke up. Haven't finished my coffee yet.

very impressive. I haven't used 3DSM since version 6. I work exclusively in maya right now. I'm pretty good with modeling but my texture/ rendering skills are...lacking. Oh well, that's why I have school, right? Keep it up.

thank you =] i had a few different ideas for renamon's design but simple ended up looking better in the end.
I use 3D studio Max for the 3D stuff and photoshop for the textures =]

I see Well I never liked 3d s max I crashed it once with a 3d model made on a really old machine.

ya, it can be a pain sometimes lol i dunno if i would have stuck with Max if it weren't for school. i've had it crash while doing some pretty mundane things -_- though i've never lost much work thanks to the autobackup Max has. that was a few years ago now though. i haven't had nearly as much problem with the newer versions.

I use strata I just wish they would fix the Rig system in the newer version. It's rendering is much better,
