I figured it was about time I did a self-portrait and I had nothing to do for half the day, but I wasn't in the mood to do anything major. So here we have a two-tone rushed self portrait. I'll do another one if I ever get a really good photo of myself to use as a reference. This one's good enough for me because I really need a new ID.

The method for this one is sort of mixed between digital and traditional, which I like. I scanned a photo and converted it to two-tone using Photoshop, then used it as a reference for speed-drawing (I have used this photo for a few avatars before). Scanned the final product and used Photoshop again to get the scribble effect and add my signature. Photoshop 5.5, 0.5 mm mechanical graphite pencil, and paper smudging sticks.

I have just transferred this image to my scraps section. I don't know what it is, but reviewing it... meh. I'm not satisfied. It will be removed entirely when I have replaced it with a proper version.
