Description This is the very last WIP I'm going to submit before I actually finish something, I promise. I actually need to submit this one because I could use some help. It's my first time working with different pencil grades, and I'm sort of having a hard time getting used to it. So it will be submitted to DA-WIP for assistance, and I'll ask for some input from everyone else. It shouldn't be long before it's done though--it's my current job and I'm not having any difficulty working on it daily. Also, this is not the final title of the drawing, I just didn't want to submit an "Untitled WIP." Suggestions are welcome as always. Oh yeah, the image is cut into two piece because it's too big for my scanner, and to put them together like a puzzle just looks wierd because of the lighting inconsistencies between the two.

A huge thanks to for the use of her original photo as a reference. The photo can be found here: [link] . It's not likely that I'll end up doing it justice but we'll see. I urge everyone to check out her gallery because she's got some great stuff. Please note that her account is not stock.

First time with 4B, 2B, 2H, 4H, kneaded eraser, tissue paper.
As usual: HB, paper smudging sticks.

Update: This is the second WIP of this drawing. As you can see it's very close to completion. I am trying to get as many of many WIPs finished before the new semester starts so I can devote most of my free time to the big tings.

Update the Second: Alright, this one is finally COMPLETE. And no, this isn't the final copy shown here. The final copy will be shown when I can get the image scanned properly by a scanner that can accomodate it. I find it funny that several people have commented on the way the full image is seperated into two pieces. That's not intentional. It's done that way because my scanner is too small, and putting them together like a puzzle looks goofy, as mentioned above. Some have even mentioned it as though it was not only intended, but some kind of commentary. Keep in mind that's not my intention, but that's not to say you aren't free to interpret however you like--I just don't think I should have credit without intent.

Update III: The Updating Looks like it's going to be a while before I get the final product uploaded. As it turns out, professional printing houses are worthless and can't accomplish even what my personal piece-of-shit scanner can, despite the fact that they're being paid. Now if only my personal piece-of-shit scanner's flatbed could accomodate 11x14 inch paper. Tomorrow evening (I think it's a Tuesday, some time in August), I'm going to go shopping for a printing house that I can work with now and in the future.

i actually kind of like it cut in two. adds to the title to have the face separated from the cleavage.

I can't help much with the technical side, knowing nothing about pencils, but I can give you some praise for amazing work. This is coming along nicely and looks to be one of the best pieces in your gallery. Keep at it and hopefully we will all soon see it as a submitted Deviation.

Great job.
