Description Now presenting the 5th issue of the Toon 5some original comic series! This comic was actually supposed to have gone up back in October, but with all the other projects I'm working on and my consistent battle with depression and anxiety it just kept getting pushed back...that and utterly suck when it comes to deadlines.

I understand the joke of this comic might be a little vague; especially if you're unfamiliar with my characters and strip, so I'll try to clarify a bit. You see Pyro (this character here...Pyro the Chameleon Dragon Model Sheet #1 ) is a rare species of dragon known as a "chameleon dragon" and can change the coloring of his skin to become virtually invisible to the naked eye...think along the lines of Randall from "Monsters, Inc.", and because he can become invisible via camouflage he sometimes tries to sneak up on people and pull dumb tricks like pretending to be a ghost and stuff like that.

Let's see. Literal fire breathing dragon who is also a great wizard. And, to scare someone, he uses... a sheet. LOL.

Would probably work, if he had more creativity with those pranks.
I mean... seriously, white cloth with two black pupils, that's it?
In any case, the shadow can't exist, because off Pyro being
invisible, since camouflage doesn't work that way, but can he
levitate?

Well, Pyro can levitate, but he's not in this comic. He's just standing their invisible with the cloth over his body until I call him out, and then resumes his natural coloring.

I'm actually aware that camouflage doesn't actually work like that with real-world physics, but it is important to remember that toon-world physics are quite different...that plus the shadow is only really there to show the audience that there is initially nothing visible under the cloth before the later frames show Pyro's tail.

I am too much of a realist, aren't I? Oh well, in the end
it doesn't affect the joke and it's punchline. But Pyro
seriously needs to train a little bit with his trickstery.

That's really part of the humor of the series. The Toon 5some are a band of misfit characters with questionable morals and sanity, to say the least. Me, Ma-Caw, and Pyro are the clownish tricksters of the group while Jake and Whiskers serve as the more serious intellectuals. I am the devious borderline amoral trickster with an affinity for chaos and disorder while Pyro is the inept wannabe prankster who's jokes tend to backfire more than succeed...and Ma-Caw is the unpredictable wild card.

I guess since I lack sociopathic tendencies, Jake seems to
be the most relatable character to me... not that this means
anything towards my preferences.

Yes, Jake is basically like the Mickey Mouse or Porky Pig of the group. He's the sweet-natured pacifistic nice guy who does not seek violence or ill-will toward anyone. He's kind of like Ghandi and Martin Luther King, Jr. too considering he won't even become angry or vindictive toward people who treat him cruelly simple because he's a snake.

He's just the all around nice-guy everyone loves, but nobody really respects.

... okay, perhaps not so much my forte after all. I am
certainly not good-natured and would probably not
hesitate using force against people that step over
the line, if it was legal to use force that is. But I am
also not overly aggressive like whiskers. I am more
in between those two extremes... a wide spectrum,
actually.

My friends and are indeed extremes of the spectrum. We are the five points of the pentagram; five of the most intense character extremes. Whiskers is the angsty battle-hardened warrior, Ma-Caw is the insane madcap wild card, Pyro is the awkward intellectual scholar, Jake is the benevolent pacifist, and I am the devious roguish trickster who treads the boundary between good and evil. Only together do our chaotic personalities balance each other out...sort of.

I guess it kinda is a bit hard to balance out something,
if there is always movement on the surface.
