I'll paint your shoes!EDIT: my new website should be coming soon. In the meantime, please note me about shoe orders.
I painted these shoes for a friend for Christmas. She's a big fan of Spring Awakening.
My first pair of shoes, woot!! I had SO much fun doing them. I hope I can continue to do this... and make money off it, maybe?
My sister is next in line, but she hasn't quite decided what she wants. Right now she's leaning towards Hitchhiker's Guide, or something Disney.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone has made a comment about your question yet but I've painted a few pairs of shoes myself, and if you used acrylic (which it looks like you did) you should probably be good. I painted a pair of "RENT" shoes about 2 years ago and they've held up just fine. I didn't even use a protective coating on 'em. They were, however, white shoes, and get naturally dirty as white shoes will eventually get.... but the paint remains! Haven't tried machine washing, but I bet it wouldn't do any harm if the paint is thick enough (and it looks like it is).

If I got this for christmas, I'd be working for years to give something equal to it, because this is probably the ONLY musical that will always beat Wicked in my heart, or anything else for that matter.

Sadly enough, I haven't seen either! But I adore the soundtrack for both shows.
Soon! I've had a fair amount of interest, so... I'm thinking I might start up a website specifically for the shoes... but I'm not sure yet.
