My submission for ~Hp-Art-ProjectI can't wait to see all of the finished illustrations, and hear JK's response to the project when she gets it! This whole thing is SO cool!
I was assigned chapter 36, The Parting of the Ways, from book 4. I chose to do the part in the hospital wing when McGonagall is having a yelling match with Fudge about the dementor. I almost did the part in Dumbledore's office, but in the end, I decided I'd rather paint Minerva.

Man, I wonder how many authors have fans making books of illustrations for them like this. XD My guess is JKR and maybe Tolkien, if he was still alive... It sounds like a really fun project.
As for the art itself, what dronarron said: Fudge's pinstripes are wicked awesome. And I love it when McGonagall goes off on people. Also, you've got a pretty solid coloring job here, it looks professional... I like the background colors and how the shadows help tie the pic together.

Fudge's pinstripe suit is awesome. That must have been a bugger to paint. And yay for Minerva with black hair, as she's supposed to have.

Thank you! The pinstripe suit was one of the easiest parts to do, actually, though time-consuming.
And yes for her black hair! It bugs me when people don't stick to that.
