A few bookmarks I've been making. I plan to sell them on Etsy once I decide if I should group them or sell them singly. What do you think?watercolor and pen on thick watercolor paper, with hemp twine and beads.

ATCs are a good idea! My Mom thinks I should make cards. She also needs ideas for the first open house at the Boys and Girls club (for the new homeschool group thing there, that is currently being planned), and I think I might be helping out in the craft room, making ATCs, so I need quick ideas. Most likely we'll be doing more coloring and glueing though.

I'd love to do some ATC trading! I've never actually done that, and I really should, because I've already made a few.

Whoa, these are gorgeous! I can't imagine using these practically, though, they're too pretty!
As for whether or not you should sell them in groups... It's hard to say. Shipping wise, it's certainly much better. Also, bookmarks are probably the sort of things people WILL want in groups, because if they're going to use them as bookmarks, it's just so easy to lose one... I imagine them being kind of like coasters. Lastly, they do look very nice all together like this. Price-wise, though, you'd probably get more for them separately, and the more you sell, the more people will know about you. If you sell them off all to one person, then that's only one person to spread the word. Also, like I said, I'd be afraid to use one like a real bookmark! Chances are, folks will get them more as decorations.
All right, now I've just confused myself. You could try both ways and see which works better... Or, you could start a poll and check out the results.

themed groups would be my opinion, as I would want more than one no doubt, plus I would not want to pay shipping on more than one.
Amy chance of reinforced tabs to keep the twine from pulling through the paper?

Thanks. Yeah, I thought the same about the shipping. I'll either be selling them in groups, or individually with combined shipping so people can easily buy more. I like the idea of the tabs, I'll look into that. The paper I use is actually pretty strong, but that's still a nice idea.

I like the idea of grouping them, but it's so hard to choose which go with which! maybe there's a way to let customers choose? or maybe I just need to make a lot and then it will be easier... perhaps.

Yeah, I think that might be best... its seems a bit silly to use all that shipping material for just one.
