Description
Real name 'Abraham Skukerman'.

Skukerman was not so involved with the local crime family before the incident.
He had a job, paid his taxes, and even had a side gig singing baritone at a local joint in the evenings.
No definite cause of his injuries was proved, but hospital records state "Car Accident".
His face was lacerated, and his lower jaw devastatingly shattered. Extensive reconstruction was required.
Luckily, the family he was somehow connected with was very well-off, and were able to hire a cutting-edge reconstructive surgeon.
Skukerman was patched up, and prescribed to wear the device for six months.
Unfortunately though, before the 6 months were up, the surgeon died in a similarly ambiguous 'incident', seemingly condemning Skukerman to wear the device the rest of his life, as its extraction proved too advanced for any local sawbones to handle.
With teeth wired together, Skukerman is apparently unable to speak.
Due to the fact that he is instantly recognizable, and that his apparatus would prove to be a large handicap in any type of "work" that the family takes part in, he is never seen around crime scenes we believe to be connected to the family, and is instead only seen going to and from their residences occasionally. We believe him to be called.
Skukerman is only seen toting a singular briefcase when paying visits to the family. When stopped, this case only contains dental, and a few surgical tools.
Every time, his excuse is that of a house call. He smiles at the officers, and continues on his way, unhindered.
No conviction was ever possible, but it's obvious what he's been called to do.

The Dummy cannot speak, but seems to have no trouble making others talk.

Here are a couple tidbits that didn't fit into the narrative:
He is always seen clean-shaven, remarkably, despite the fixator around his mouth. He must have quite the skill with a razor.
Since having to maintain his own apparatus, Skukerman seems to have taken a shine towards external fixators and dentistry in general. He has taken classes on such subjects, but never applied to be a student.
