I think this was the last time that Khang Mai and I collaborated on a drawing. We did good work together, but it was slow. We were faster on our own and had other story ideas anyway. "Ultra-Violent Comics" was supposed to be an anthology. Noir Body Horror? I wouldn't have called it that back then, but I guess that's what it was. The assassin was someone paid to do particularly gruesome hits on high level people. Or that was the idea. I wasn't much of a comics writer. I really wanted to make movies at this point so after another 8 page story that was never published, I hung up the comics gloves. Looking back it was fun, but it more served it's purpose as a stepping stone to newer interests.
