what is the purpose of using epoxy when u sculpt? does it give it a different effect or is it for structure?

Hi,
i use epoxy when i need work hard surfaces like teeths, dreadlocks, spines,armature, etc. I can sand it. Sculpey, however, is more "organic".

I do not use it regularly, but for me, the better is the "apoxie Aves".
here in Argentina, i use epoxy "suprabond" (in the picture looks brown)
