Interesting colors use: the colors are telling me something mysterious, dark and sinister, but at the left corner there's something lighter, so perhaps a hope to it. Anyhow, this is a gorgeous combination of these colors and the texture is really interesting! Good work!

Amazing to see what a simple shower can effect
I think there are a million ways to imagine a scene like you described. (even more, if you frequently watch the NationalGeographic channel )
And I guess most of these ways are red, orange and yellow, aren't they? So blue seems to be quite unusual. It looks like a magnetic or electrical action, and (at least for me) this "something large" with it's blue sparks looks rather attracting than dangerous. It seems to contribute energy to some static state. Sometimes what looks like a disaster actually clears a place for something new.
Very interesting again!

Yes I do most of my good thinking in the shower
It is true, this concept can be depicted numerous ways, this is just what popped out. (The Science Channel for me!)
I work a lot in yellows and reds for some reason so I sometimes push myself to work in blues. I like the concept of clearing a place for something new.
