The Avenger-class light assault destroyer is a special-purpose guided weapons artillery and strategic strike ship designed to eliminate large warships, convoys and military installations.
The ship is a heavier armed variant of the Enforcer-class light destroyer equipped with torpedo launchers. In addition to it's heavy guided weapons loadout it is armed with extended range kinetic main guns and a larger array of smaller short range weapons.
The Avenger-class light assault destroyer's primary role is that of a strategic strike and light command ship equally capable of engaging formations of warships, quickly destroying strategically important installations and intercepting enemy strike forces.
