Pay no attention to the background, please. I needed something quick.I was experimenting with some simple shading techniques here and got this rather strange glossy look. Okay... o.O
So... a still nameless riding tulpa, this one obviously created for looks and battle. I'll keep changing the design, I'm not satisfied with its current look. I'll try to make this character a lot more alien-looking and stylized before it can be named.

Nice work, the background being nonethewiser.
If you want to make it look more alien, say: remove the nostrils to another place that's not on the head; do something weird with the limb posture (hands sideways, arthropod-like limb physionomy); perhaps the eyes should also disappear or be multiplied or be just downright weird. The tail could go and the decoration could be more elaborate. Or you could just ignore this last paragraph and do your own thing

I think the background is what really made the creature catch my eye in the first place ^^ Rather than match it in detail, it doesn't detract from the actual subject. I'm loving the emphasis on the musculature of the tulpa, the open landscape you've put it in makes it look more natural and less fantastical, which I really like ^^

The trees weren't quick, they are sweet! but... OH my gosh, that thing is sexay! Well, not really, but you know what I mean, frickin awesomely beautiful >.< Urge... to cuddle... so... strong... *sobs* Love it!
