Description
Pay no attention to the background, please. I needed something quick.I was experimenting with some simple shading techniques here and got this rather strange glossy look. Okay... o.O
So... a still nameless riding tulpa, this one obviously created for looks and battle. I'll keep changing the design, I'm not satisfied with its current look. I'll try to make this character a lot more alien-looking and stylized before it can be named.

My tulpa approves! Here's him switching with me to type:
Woah, that thing is terrifying.....Why would anybody want to look like that? It would be torture!

Hello! The tulpas in my fictional universe are probably very different from you. This one is only about as smart as a horse and likes the way it is - powerful and fast. The sentient ones take more civil, hominid forms.

(Square brackets = tulpa typing, adopted from tulpa.info )
[Very cool.... It's not one in your mind? Thank goodness! That's a relief. Goodbye!]
Alright, but also, this is now me, the "host" of john, care to check out my artwork? It's not great, but I don't mean to be all beggy here, but I want to be at least semi-known.

How strange all the tulpas I've seen seem creepy anyway how do I make a tulpa I have an idea of what I want to make.

Thanks! Ah, and I'm sorry for the confusion. While this thing is meant to be a thought-form, it's part of a fiction universe where they are pretty much the norm and can be made much more refined. I don't do the stuff IRL, frankly, I don't believe it anymore. But there are some books with instructions floating around, an amazon search on thought-forms should yield some results.

Really sorry. Also, all my bookmarks on the topic are outdated. The only one that still works is a book I almost bought for further studies: www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASINβ¦

That's a tulpa? You sure you want that running around in your mind? But then again this pic is from 2005, so too little too late on my part.
I'm joking of course. This is really good work.

;D I'm far too cowardish to really experiment with that stuff. And most likely hopelessly unskilled, too. The people in my brainchild universe use them, though. ^^
Thanks!

Cowardish? I assure you there's no danger, though the internet loves to use them as horror stories. If you're ever interested, go here: [link]
That site'll tell you everything you need to know.

Oh, that's interesting. I'll check the site out.
'Mine' are more of the traditional approach: Something that actually manifests physically and can be experienced by other characters.

Painted the ground in several green tones. Drew strokes on a new layer in many shades of green, duplicated, mirrored, stretched them over and over until everything was covered. Then I drew the little leafy plants in to make it look more natural. ^^ Thanks!

I would name him Rakal. You see Rakal is a character in my book. he is a fearsome warewolf, all black with red eyes. He is strong, leader of his clan. In the end he commits hadeous crimes for power, and dies because of it. He is the main evil, and he would do anything, even kill his own clan to become the ultimate power. If you wouldn't mind your book interests me and i would like to read some of it. Your drawings are absolutly magnificent apart from the few miss-positions. I hope that you keep drawing like this, it is truly amazing.
Good Luck!

a tulpa is a creature that you make with your mind alone willfully that can interact/ be seen by other people

Very, very neat critter!! I actually like the background--the glossy look goes great with the fog and the lake, and it keeps the background from being too intrusive. Looks awesome!

Why not pay attention to the background? It's awsome, and so is the little black dragon thing. It doesn't look that alien aside from the things on it's legs though.
