Description
So 2 weeks ago we actually started a pure Bastet (werecat) pen&paper group. Feeling really deprived of roleplaying lately it even made me break through my block long enough to do this.Hope the group survives for a while.
This is my character, a jaguar shapeshifter.
The earrings were heavily inspired by the designs of the awesome ~synnabar , even though they're just visible as little ugly shapes.
And thanks for the first two poses to *SenshiStock .
I tried something different for the Sokto (near-human) form, wanted to see how I liked it more... well, cute, I guess. Not sure.
Haha, and look how I got better at jaguar patterns throughout the cat forms.

Oh wow! It's been years since I played Hengeyokai! You best hope you've got a lot of D10's
Lovely pictures. The way the shading adds to the depth and shape of the figures especially.

With that character, you get plenty of D10... at least for combat and sneaking. In social situations, you better hide her somewhere until the critical part is over. She was my worst and most fun character in that regard.
And you did Hengeyokai? *looks at username* Kitsune?

*snicker* Not unreasonable to assume But no, a young Japanese girl, several generations removed from Japan, living in London with little idea of her culture and even less idea of her heritage as a Khan. Sadly, the game didn't get very far before the ST lost interest in it.
But yes, I know those characters well. A friend of mine has a mage in her game who's extremely powerful and on the run from several extremely powerful organisations who want him dead, and his idea of subtly is running through the streets shouting, "I'm a mage! I'm a mage!" Like you say, great fun and massive nightmares!

Not enough people appreciate a good world of darkness game lol. Amazing art! I've only ever played a werewolf and Kitsune myself cuz no one ever wants to play world of darkness ;n;

Yup, many people see the need to fight the stereotype that WTA is mostly a combat game. For me personally, we don't have enough combat in our games. xD

It was the overall chaotic nature of those games that brought on the good times
you never knew what was gonna happen (from mages, to vamps, to demons) everything went
an a lot of blood

This has been in my favorites for a little while now, and I constantly come back to it. Reminds me of the good days when the old crew would play.
I still love the five forms, even though she's in the wrong color. (Hehe, all of mine were always melanistic!)

Mai in unserem IRC Kanal.

Thank you! And no problem, I love exchanging character stories. Not much can be said about her yet, since it's only been our 3rd game. She's relatively nice for a Balam but has already lashed out at another PC. She grew up as a jaguar in the Amazon, not much exciting happened during that time. Her kuasha brought her into first contact with humans after her change, and I borrowed heavily from D. Everett's studies of the Piraha people to give her a way of speaking and thinking. Apart from that, she's very straightforward, has not picked up proper human etiquette yet, expects everyone to help her out with money etc and never says thankyou, but she plans on returning all the favors if the right time comes. She's also very fascinated with the Umbra and hopes to go there one day. Until then, she specializes in rituals. Of her attributes, dexterity is the higest, and she's very proud of that. She has the flaws 'curious' and 'overconfident' but I try not to get on the other players' nerves with that.

It's all about the Balam! Now all you need is a Corax sidekick to pull her tail once in a while...

Tacimur In reply to demongirl [2012-02-13 20:32:55 +0000 UTC]
XD Argh, I've had enough of the flutterers! No, really, that would be one thing to drive her nuts. But it's not wise to pull a Balam's tail too often, they have that temper problem... and they do 14 die of damage with relative ease. An H bomb does 30.

Khan rule. I hope I can do the Balam justice in the game, I feel the character isn't angry enough. But that can still develop somehow.

Well, they don't have to be angry all the time, though I guess a lot of them are, there's nothing wrong with bucking the stereotype! (says the person who had a Nuwisha character with Harano...) I had a Balam character that was relatively good-natured and friendly, she just had a very short fuse and when she lost it... hoooooo boy.

Guess I won't have to worry about that image anymore... wound up almost killing another PC last session because I thought he might have caused my kuasha's death through a botched roll.
