This is from September... the little fellow was an NPC for our werewolf game. Totally naive and later destroyed by the humans who raised him. O cruel world...Related content

Yeah... I'm not trying to sound like a stereotypical furry going on and on about how terrible all hyoomins are, but just yesterday I got this mail from Defenders of Wildlife:
"Whoever kills the most wolves wins.
Thatβs the bottom line of a planned predator-killing competition in Idaho. Prizes would go to whoever kills the most wolves, coyotes and other predators.
To add insult to injury, this βkillfestβ would take place on publicly-owned land, some of which is being considered for wilderness status!
A βhuntersβ rightsβ organization has formally requested permission to hold this despicable contest every year for the next five years. The proposed event would take place every winter, when wolves and other wildlife are at their most vulnerable - out foraging for food in the snow and bitter cold."
This is something like straight out of a bad Disney movie where the hunters are simply unreasonably evil. What's going on in people's heads?

I have no idea, honestly...
I mean, sure, if they're protecting their own land and family or whatever but not if you're just gonna go out and massacre them. Some might not realise it, but it does affect the packs, they do mourn.

That was the point. The whole game was about learning a lession about the wolf's place in the world and that neither hate nor ignorance will get you farther.

Anyways, this is just so extremely cute. I adore the little playful pose and the wagging of the tail, and the expressions is just way to cute for words! The way you did the legs and paws is just so cute.

It's such a kewl picture, very detailed and very realistic. I just love your style, both realistic and stylized at the same time. Very few artists can pull that off as well as you can.
The pose is very cute as well, its so active and really adds to the playfulness of the doggie.
I also like the colors you chose to use for the fur, tee hee it too adds to the realism of the picture.
The fur is also very detailed, how long did it take you to do this picture? Seriously, how long? I've tried to do fur once myself... lets just say it didn't turn out as expected (ended up looking like just a flat color with darker streaks of the color in it grrrrr 
The anatomy is very kewl, I really like it. I'm trying to get more into drawing canines but I always screw up the legs or the paws *le sigh* oh well practice makes perfect. Tee Hee very fav worthy

If I remember correctly this didn't take too long. Maybe an hour or two. I had only three colored pencils or so for the fur so I couldn't make too many strokes before everything would go messy.
