Yesyes. At least two things about the pose are terribly awkward. So don't look too closely.
Meep.And don't ask about the rings. They've always been part of that dragon. *shrugs*
I think he's my second-oldest dragon character but I never did more of him than a sketch! He has no other name than "Swallow" because of his sleek wing shape and his great speed. He's about 2/3 of Graik's size, which means, rather small.
Swallow lived on a small island, almost ate my main character and agreed to save his life later. From that on he became a messenger and kept appearing here and there in my story.
And - HEY! My mind warped me back to the year 2002! *points at date* Can you tell how tired I am...?

I don't think the pose is awkward and the wing patterns are great. After all, it looks like a rather small dragon and so you could always say the 'eyes' on it's wings are for defence... I dunno. Nice details as alwayws.
