No story, cause I can't think of one. Here's some Hyena youth, starring Vumbi. Presumably this takes place around the same time her mother and buddies were trying to murder two kids.

Shes being watched by her second cousin's mom, and Aunt. Vunja and Shtaka. And "playing" with her cousins.

Left to right: Kaptula, Kivuli and Tishio.

Poor Tishio, he's become kind of a punching bag in my verse tbh. Which is unfortunate for him since hyenas are... hyenas.

So Vunja is Shenzi's first cousin, and Shtaka is Shenzi's older sister. Yep Shtaka is just like Vumbi, except in her case she didn't try to off her little sibling.

Which in the eyes of Vunja, Vumbi, and later her kid Kaptula; made her weak and unfit to rule the Clan. Which going further into my HC, Vunja's mother also is like this.

Vumbi is the first to I guess break the cycle of being displaced by a younger sibling. Not that it's a good thing of course.

Should've drawn out more cubs, but this is kind of lazy sort of. So just the main top cubs this time.

Also I need to make palettes for each environment. Holy crap this became hell for me solely cause I was trying to get the color schemes to somewhat resemble the Be Prepared color palettes. It didn't work.

I just don't wanna fight and make even more files of color palettes 8n8 so I might just deal with possibly inaccurate color schemes for environments to save my space.

Might draw more hyenas eventually, not sure yet. If I do, I kind of want to draw the cubs interacting with Lion cubs. Maybe around the same time Scar becomes King.

So expect that, but don't expect it soonish. Someday.
