Description
Trying out my new coloured pencils
I couldn't afford that many, otherwise I would have made a whole portrait in colour. This was actually the first drawing on Bristol I started, but I left it unfinished for a month or two.
I don't have a link to the original reference picture anymore ><
Derwent graphite pencils & Faber-Castell colour pencils.

The colored pencil actually looks very good. Which is saying something- usually, even on bristol it looks scratchy and uneven... at least for me. 
I like the way you also only colored sections of this picture. It makes the colored sections pop out so much more. And the mixture of styles is amazing.
For getting new pencils this really looks quite good.
