A couple friends from my school and I had started up the tradition of watching a couple episodes of Cowboy Bebop every Friday night because none of us have ever seen the anime before.
I love this show so much with every fiber of my entire being and it has had such a enormous impact on me over the course of the month or so that I have been watching it. It is, without a doubt, my favorite show of any kind of all time.
I was originally going to make a post about everything and my experience as soon as I got done, but I found myself staring at a blank document. I just felt like a wall of text just wouldn't properly convey my appreciation for everything and there is not a strong enough word in any language on this planet to describe how this show makes me feel. So I did what I do best and I drew a picture.
I did however, make a tumblr post two weeks ago after finishing episode 13, about some Cowboy Bebop stuff and what it means to me and you can
read it here if you want, but its kinda lame and cheesy because I was crying the whole time haha
But enough typing already.....

What's sad is everyone was connected through Spike and now that he's gone, each character is on their own again. Sure Ed and Ein are together for the end but Jet and Faye's partnership wouldn't last long.

One of my favorite anime. This is an incredible art work here, and you really capture the look and feel of the show. The atmosphere of this pic is how many of us feel when the show ends, where we're left just thinking about the Bebop world. Overall a very epic art work. ^^Β

My fav episode was pierrot the fool.
But sadly, I kinda grew out of the goofy stuff they did... which is why, despite my deep love for jazz, i prefered samurai champloo.

I told my friend to watch Cowboy Bebop and she asked what it was about and since it's impossible to sum it up with words I just said "basically space cowboys" to which she replied "eww I don't like stuff like that, like Star Wars and stuff" and then I went on a crazy tangent about how amazing it is and if she doesn't watch it sometime in her life I'm going to follow her into the afterlife and make her watch it with me and yeah.
Long rant.
Cowboy Bebop is the greatest thing to ever happen to anime. Ever.

I have so many friends who are like "ew i dont like that anime stuff" and Im just like "NO YOURE GOING TO LIKE THIS TRUST ME" and then i force them to watch it and surely enough, they like it~ Cowboy Bebop is literally a genre of its own.

I remember sneaking out late at night, avoiding my parents to watch toonami when I was younger. Cowboy Bebop would come on sometimes but I never actually knew what it was about. I'm so glad I waited until I was actually older and able to understand and appreciate what a magnificent show it is.

Cowboy Bebop is a masterpiece. Unique and amazing in EVERY way... every element, from the smooth animation, reflective in-depth stories, personalities - all of it. My #1

The show is great, but prepare for the ending. One of the most senseless, depressing endings ever. EVER.

Oh i've seen the ending already. But actually, I didn't really find the ending all that sad??? It was upsetting, yes, because a character that we had spent 26 episodes getting to know and loving had just died... but at the same time I also kinda knew it was coming? I could feel it from the beginning. It was a very fitting end to the series in my opinion. I honestly cant imagine the show ending a different way than what it did~

It would have maybe been cool to see a couple more episodesΒ (or maybe another movie????)Β of the Bebop crew and their wacky space adventures, but if given the choice, I actuallyΒ dont ever want them to make another Cowboy Bebop season. I love the way the series is on its own and it ended perfectly in my opinion. I dont think they need to ever do anything more with it. Its already perfect as is~

yea the ending was pretty much as good as it gets but the story was so short for how good it was that the only think I ever had a problem with it or I was so it was maybe the best anime to date but it was so short for true legend well many are but still you know what I mean right?
