So I finished watching Cowboy Bebop last night.
A couple friends from my school and I had started up the tradition of watching a couple episodes of Cowboy Bebop every Friday night because none of us have ever seen the anime before.

I love this show so much with every fiber of my entire being and it has had such a enormous impact on me over the course of the month or so that I have been watching it. It is, without a doubt, my favorite show of any kind of all time.
I was originally going to make a post about everything and my experience as soon as I got done, but I found myself staring at a blank document. I just felt like a wall of text just wouldn't properly convey my appreciation for everything and there is not a strong enough word in any language on this planet to describe how this show makes me feel. So I did what I do best and I drew a picture.

I did however, make a tumblr post two weeks ago after finishing episode 13, about some Cowboy Bebop stuff and what it means to me and you can
read it here if you want, but its kinda lame and cheesy because I was crying the whole time haha

But enough typing already.....

Oh yes~ I watched the movie last Halloween (because I knew that was the setting for the movie) and omg yes i really really loved it. Absolutely gorgeous animation and the plot was really coolΒ

This is an amazing drawing!!
From what I read, you drew this after you watch the entire series. This drawing captures the essence of the series and also the uncertain future that awaits for each of them. Faye and Ed both have the least certainty of what they are going to do with their lives and looking down; while Spike and Jet (old companions) already accepted their past and trying to make a living/future of what they have. This is honestly my favorite drawing of Cowboy Bebop.
The fact that a lot of people are praising this (even though it was a hidden treasure) means you are doing something right. Keep up the good work and hope to see you progressing, cheers!

You also got it pretty spot on too with your description! This scene was meant to be somewhere around episode 24 right before ed left. I wanted to show them all together one last time before they all split up and went their separate ways.

Right now, no, I don't have any prints for sale, but I might start looking into it because i've had multiple people ask for prints of this picture haha

Ive seen a lot of realistic Spike pictures before but I've never seen a Joseph Gordon Levitt one OHmYGOD.


While he does look incredible like that, Im not sure I would really ever be up for a live action movie adaptation of Bebop...I think it would just kinda throw off the balance of everything with how the original series ended and plus the Knocking on Heavens Door movie... It just wouldn't feel right to me. Wouldn't be the same, ya know?
