your right about not wanting to get near her when she gets angry ... 

i cant say i have a full backstory  for her other than that she is responsible of a knowledgeable power  by her people . that she have to keep it safe from the wrong people... 
the price of having the power is that she will no longer be abole to live with her people for its not safe anymore

In a way I am sorry for her - it must have been hard to choose a life of solitude... but looking at her in this pic, I think she's taking it bravely

Did you work out what kind of power she's protecting, and how come she chose a life of being barefoot? Does it connect to the nature of her powers perhaps?

apart of her powers is getting aged very slow . so she will live most-likely longer than normal humans .
strength ... and physically control some stuffs 

about her outfet its about been useful... silent,stealth,  and sometimes shoes dont help on that
