Description
The ISS Mærr is the latest from the new line of Beliskner III class cruisers. Designed as a flagship, this class is intended to lead a fleet of ships into battle, and to be the platform for first contact scenarios. It effectively provides an elegant and visually appealing venue for diplomatic affairs, and simultaneously carries enough armour and weapons to hold its own, should things take a turn for the worse. In ship-to-ship combat, it may not be the most deadly ship in the fleet, but it brings to bear the most powerful mounted energy weapon systems on any ship; the wing mounted Heavy Plasma Cannons.

Ships of this class to date include ISS Mjolnir (Retrofitted from Beliskner II class), ISS Fenrir (Also retrofitted), ISS Yggdrasil, ISS Beliskner III, and ISS Mærr.
