I needed new character art for the front cover of Survivors of PEACE, so this is what I came up with for Zira. Her appearance has changed a little once again, as you can see. The title of this one comes from the fact that she's grown so much by the time we see her in Survivors. In the first book, she was this young, inexperienced, too-reckless assassin with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove. Over the course of three books, she's gone through a lot and matured a lot as a result. She's gained experience, she's learned to care about the larger world around her, and she's become more level-headed. Hopefully that comes across in the pages of the story as well as I can see it in my head.
