A reference sheet of sorts for my character Rephayis the Basilisk. I've had him drawn a while back, but I'm starting to get some referencey images for my characters done, so that I can upload them here. I just updated his info a little bit, didn't change the reference much.

Weapon [Type]:
Shattercrack [Whip Blade]: a type of segmented blade, which can be extended into a whip-like weapon (the segments connected by metal wire). Summoned from Rephayis' Celestite crystal rock.

Umbran Ability:
Time Lapse

Abilities:
Ethereal/Astral Projection, Drain Vitality, Venomous, Pro Climber/Swimmer, Water running

Fighting Styles and Battle Abilities:
He is extremely agile and athletic. He uses this during battle to to maneuver rapidly and confuse his target, as well as effectively evade. His gaze has the ability to drain the vitality and willpower from the target; this is triggered by the victim making eye contact for an extended duration. As short term, it partially immobilizes the victim, during which Rephayis can take advantage of the situation. His eyes glow bright when this process occurs. He uses his long prehensile tail for both balance, as well as to grapple things. It has proven to be a useful extra appendage. His claws are naturally poisonous, and can be lethal if left untreated. He can make these type of energy slices shoot from the horns on his wrists. Due to his resurrection, he is now Penumbran and can become ethereal and ghost-like, which he can use to phase through objects. However, he cannot make physical contact with anything while ethereal, so it is not an offensive maneuver, but for travel and stealth. During the day, he is his natural coloration of green, yellow, and red, However, due to said resurrection, he becomes purple, blue, and white at nighttime. He can use his umbran ability to create a time shift, where it slows down to almost a stop or speeds up. This only appears this way to Rephayis himself, so others don't realize the shift in the passing of time. Rephayis is experimenting with astral projection time travel (where his physical body stays in the present, but his ethereal form travels back or forward through time, incapable of physical interaction, but can observe and speak with those around him.) Though nimble and agile, his defenses are pretty weak, and he cannot last as the focus of a conflict, being easily overtaken without backup. He is more of a hit-and-run attacker, and uses his agility and finesse to avoid attacks. He will flee combat if he knows he cannot win.

Personality:
He is quite cynical and harsh regarding his viewpoints. He doesn't trust others easily, and it is difficult to earn his respect; the only ones that he fully trusts are those in his group. However, once he does, he will be quite cooperative. He has little patience, and prefers to do things himself. Rephayis is of the scheming and vengeful sort; he will hold a grudge for a very long time, and will go out of his way to be sure that anyone that has wronged him will suffer the consequences. Rephayis is also extremely competitive. He can be merciless and brutal, but often holds his composure out of self respect. He is fully aware of his limits, but won't readily admit or expose them to others, being quite reclusive. He is usually quiet, and prefers actions over words. Oftentimes following his orders instead of planning them.
