Heheh, quite an idea indeed. It took me a moment to remember, but I definitely like how it all came out in the end. Your style fits them very well.
Thanks for the share.

Yeah, I wonder, too, how it looks like inside of a pokeball.
But... Can it be, that pokemon become this red energy-thing like in the anime?
And, I guess, you flipped the color of the pokeball, right?
In the thumbnail, I thought, the 'inside of the pokeball' was a Darkrai because of the colors of its head and chest (or how I should call that red thing around his shoulders...).

I think the red energy bit is to "teleport" the PokΓ©mon into the PokΓ© Ball's interior.
In most cases, being in the PokΓ© Ball is good for if the PokΓ©mon is too tired to move or needs to hide.
...Ngah, I rambled.

that's a good observation. the pokemon just may be a red ball of energy inside a pokeball once caught...hmmm.
I pretty much did flip the colors because I thought that the red was the bottom most of the time since it has color, but at least it still looks cool though .
I'm still trying to figure out how does gardevoir looks like darkrai based on what you said but I guess I'm not looking hard enough. Thank you for your words and comment.

Uhm... I thought, that the pokeball itself looked like a Darkrai because of the flipped colors, you see?
I did not see the Darkrai in the Gardevoir.
Sorry, if I was not clear enough...
I think more than I write/speak.

I like the idea. It's quite interesting to see a Gardevoir in it's Pokeball waiting to get out of it.
That Pokeball's colouration looks indeed interesting.

thank you. it was pretty hard to think of an inside design for the pokeball, so I did something a little simple, but I'm glad that you like. I salute you
