*huge sigh* I cannot wait for this trainwreck of a boring season to be over. Holy balls, man. I haven't even watched the last three or four episodes and I feel like I haven't missed a damn important thing that has any plot significance....which I suppose could be said for nearly any similar stretch of the series.Anyway, this is a movie-exclusive to Ghost's summer movie, Zero Specter. He's actually Makoto/Specter and Kanon's father who was presumed dead. Dunno much more than that honestly. I'm assuming he gets dealt with pretty quickly because he's in like a whopping five seconds of trailer time.
So yurp, another recolor form. And three horns, whoa~~~ how cool~~~. The only decent thing about this guy is the dark purple/violet color scheme, especially paired with the black knees and wrist/ankle guards to better separate him from normal Specter.

This is even more lazy than the Dark necroms. I mean the 3rd Horn is from GHOST They didnt even bother to make a 3rd Specter Horn.

Just as a heads up, the coloring of the front parts of the coat is incorrect: the outer part should be purple while inner should be black. Other than that, great work as always! - This has been a message from someone who pays WAY to much attention to suit details XD

Well, I'll give them one thing, at least they didn't call him "Dark Specter." They at least tried to give him a somewhat unique name.
Also, I can't help but think that they should have used this color scheme for Deep Specter. The all black/deep purple combo would have made that form look less dumb.

Especially sense Mugen Damashii, Deep Specter, and Necrom all use white/silver for the majority of their base bodies. Makes it kind of repetitive.

That's kind of a good way to sum it up. The series had infinate potential, but didn't really use most of it. I was honestly hoping for something like Kiva, but we got something kind of bland in the end.

Yea, that would be a good comparison series of what could've been, I think. I'd say the biggest flaws for Ghost for me are the sheer amount of forms thrown at us, and the fact the first "99 days" BS lasted what, 11-12 episodes when these eps have been paired up (ie same story/days for two weeks). So the pacing for the first dozen episodes was just waaay off and rushed and then it's been the "second 99 days" ever since? Since December? Come the fuck on.
Had they never introduced the "99 day" revive period, I think a lot of the pacing would fix itself. Also it'd help tremendously to not have Takeru's intro/catchup every damn episode telling the audience what's happened. I hate that so much.

Yeah, those are the biggest problems with Ghost in a nutshell. I don't mind there being a lot of forms, I hate that they're distributed so unevenly (with the 15 eyecons anyway). Takeru gets 10, Makoto gets 3, and Alain gets 2. There is no reason for Takeru to have the Majority of them.

I mean, he should have the majority in so much as he's the lead, and leads always get the most. But he definitely shouldn't get 66% of them. Nor should there even be 15; cut that in half-ish to 8 and keep the same percentages and it's all better for me: Takeru 5; Makoto 2; Alain 1. And then we're also back to more standard number of basic form changes for the lead. There's no damn reason for there to be, what, four "shooter" forms in Takeru's 10 eyecons? Just....why?

Yeah, that seems like it would have worked better. Something I'm happy to see in the Ex-Aid scans is that (at least for the first quarter's worth of toys) all the Riders have the same number of forms/weapons. I won't be surprised if that changes later on, but at least everything's spread out evenly for now.

Also, you've only missed three kind of important things in Ghost. Adel connectes to the great eye, revives all the Ganmiers that Takeru killed, and that Demia thing that Igor was doing finally got some significance (and it's VERY underwhelming considering the build up time it got).

I dunno, kinda thought Ghost would be better than Drive, and I can't honestly remember a series that has consistently held my interest less than Ghost. It's kinda shaping up to be among my least favorites.

This is what happen when you set up a promotion based on a project that's completely different from what you'd expect and build hype on what you thought you get, it'll end up disappointing
